While some drivers were trying to gingerly navigate snowy Park County roads the evening of Feb. 21, a vehicle driving south on U.S. 285 led Park County deputies on a dangerous high-speed chase in blizzard-like conditions.

The driver of the car was Robert Pollack, 31, of Thornton. Pollack passed Deputy Andrew MacGeorge at a high speed on a blind curve near mile marker 222, just south of downtown Bailey.
