Motorists traveling on U.S. 285 northeast of Conifer should expect delays through the end of the month as crews work to remove rocks and other natural debris from a nearby hillside.

The Colorado Department of Transportation says drivers should expect traffic stops up to 20 minutes long on the southbound lanes of the highway about four miles southwest of the Colorado 8 and Morrison Road interchange.

The stops will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily starting Monday.
