All,

On May 28th, there will be a hearing to determine if the community and Park County as a whole should allow a new dispensary to operate just on the fringe of Jefferson county line and Park, just past Pine Junction where the Reggie's restaurant used to be. It has been vacant for over 10 years and It is to be completely renovated. The dispensary will provide all organically grown product as well as place an emphasis on providing CBD, or Cannabidiol, products to its customers.

For anyone that doesn't know what CBD is, please read the attached informational sheet as it goes over it a little. You could also Google Charlotte's Web, which is the story of a girl that had seizures so badly it was destroying her brain until she started taking CBD oil. I have many close friends that swear by it, some have PTSD, some used to even have cancer and were able to be completely cured and to this day have no malignant cancer cells, even when the doctors said it was impossible without operations to remove the cancer. This stuff is a miracle, and there is hardly any in the state. I am the proposed owner, and I want to specialize in it and grow over half CBD strains to be made into oil to help Colorado reach the supply needed to help everyone. There are currently many more people that need it than are getting it, and are on lists for over a year sometimes. The prices are insane... my friend was just quoted $1800/mo for treatment, at over $200/gram.

The hearing is at 9 AM on the 28th in the same building as the county clerk at 501 Main Street in Fairplay. Anyone that can support this cause, please attend! This is not going to be just another dispensary. I am focused on CBD and providing MEDICINE to those in need. I did not apply for a medical license, but promise to offer the same discounts to medical patients as if they did have their purple card. This way there is no extra paperwork, and people who don't want to go to the doctor can still benefit from the oil as a preventative measure. I will also be significantly lowering the cost.

If you can't make it to the hearing but would like to show your support, please email the commissioner with your comments and REQUEST THEY BE READ DURING THE HEARING. Here is the link to do so:

A support petition as per Park County can be found in local businesses around Bailey, including Crow Hill Cafe and Delwood Liquors; please sign it if you wish to have a say in this. You can also print out a petition, sign it, and drop it off at one of those businesses. Here is the link to the folder containing the petition as well as an informational sheet: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/bex9g2zz6g8e ... C6iha?dl=0

I have been cultivating CBD for over 2 years. I have an extensive background as a licensed consultant for dispensaries for over 5 years, and have been a grower for over 10. I also have run other businesses including the Gypsy Cafe in Bailey. I have a Bachelors Degree with a specialization in Psychology. I have also done non-profit work for many years helping patients in their homes get started growing because of this unavailability to CBD. I also have extensive knowledge on making oil, wax, and shatter; however, these would not be processed at Canna Cabana. CBD strains are extremely hard to come by, and when someone gets one, they hold on to them because of how valuable they are. I think this is unfortunate, and this is why the price is so outrageous. The demand is very high but almost all dispensaries are focused on supplying the recreational side and ignore the real people that need help. This means availability is extremely low, and demand is huge. Tens of thousands of people have moved to Colorado just to get CBD and now they can't even receive it.

Having Canna Cabana in Bailey will as a result bring more business to Bailey, Pine and Conifer, and increase property values. The facility will be state-of-the-art and security will be much more strict than the state or county requires. I know that some people may be scratching their head right now, which is why I will be holding a PUBLIC Q&A session for anyone who has questions, comments, or concerns. You will also be able to sign a petition there. Here are the details:

Location: 66803 US Hwy 285, Bailey, CO 80421 (in front of the building)
Date/Time: Friday, May 22nd @ 4 PM - 6:30 PM, and Saturday, May 23rd @ 11 AM - 1 PM

Thank you for your time. I truly appreciate any support that I can get from the community.
