Santa Joins Christmas in July Celebration at IMHS Second Chance Thrift Shop

Saturday July 27 Super Sale Benefits Shoppers and Animals

Santa Claus will make an appearance at the Saturday, July 27 Christmas in July celebration at the Second Chance Thrift Shop on 285 in Pine Junction. All items are half-off the already low normal sales price and every transaction benefits the homeless animals who receive care from Intermountain Humane Society (IMHS).

“Talk about a hot sale! Christmas is a time to spread joy, and our half-price sale will give that to shoppers and the homeless animals who are in such need in our mountain community,” stated Marta Anderson, Shelter Director.

The Christmas in July celebration will run-─rain or shine-─from 9 am until 4pm in the parking lot of the Second Chance Thrift Shop and IMHS, which is in the log building on 285 in Pine Junction (just south of the traffic light at the intersection with route 126). Santa will be available to greet shoppers from 10am to noon and is available for pictures with pets or kids for an extra donation to IMHS.

Hot dogs, veggie dogs, brats, and drinks will be available for purchase during the event.

“We know smart shoppers grab bargains early in the year for their loved ones, and they’ll not only be sure to find something for everyone on their list at the Christmas in July celebration but they’ll also be showing their love for the dogs and cats served by IMHS,” said Anderson, “And we hope some shoppers will open their hearts and adopt a loving canine or feline to really make this celebration special.”

Intermountain Humane Society is a private, non-profit organization that receives no government funding and relies solely on donations and community support to serve its mission; IMHS is open every day, with special evening hours on Wednesday. The Second Chance Thrift Shop is open Tuesday-Sunday. IMHS is located downstairs and the Second Chance Thrift Shop upstairs at 67318 US Hwy 285 S in Pine Junction. For more information on donating to the thrift shop, or IMHS spay-neuter and adoption programs or volunteer opportunities, call 303-838-2668 or visit http://www.imhs.org.
