Looks like anti-gay slurs might be banned too. And now the NBA is thinking of doing the same thing. Personally I think the NBA should be leading the charge on this. Since the fans are so much closer to the action, hearing players and coaches throwing off racial and homophobic slurs is very unappealing. And if they require the same rules for fans, then VL will be thrown out of many more games.

For the politically naive here "Redskins" is an ethnic slur. One network was even debating not using the "Redskins" name during broadcasts.
