Our shared interests: camping, gardening, birdwatching, wildlife, flyfishing, rafting, Ford Model T autos
My hunting interests: grouse, quail, pheasant, goose, duck
My wife's interests: photography, hiking, painting

jmc, we are planning on a hike near Mt. Elbert on Sunday. We plan to hike toward timberline until we exhaust ourselves.

If you need any gardening help, let me know. I have a gun, but don't hunt and I like to hike, but not uphill, other than that, just ask around. I am sure someone will have an answer.

Welcome to the neighborhood Arlen! Congrats on retirement; it seems everyone I know who retires get busier! :)

I hope we'll see some photos from your wife posted on here - we love seeing pictures!

Model Ts? Do you have one or restore them? I love talking cars!

I have a 1925 Model T roadster which I restored several years ago. It is not a very serviceable mountain vehicle but it is wonderful to drive on flatland roads.

I need to know if it is legal to open carry a pistol in the Pike National Forest while hiking?

Howdy! Congrats on your successful retirement and having four kids stand up on their own and be successful adults in a very difficult economy! Glad to see more people joining 285 bound!
