So according to reports from the Jeffco Sheriff and the Evergreen Fire Dept, after reviewing the cause of the fire, it was determined that a tree in a power line caused the Bluebell Fire. It was stated that had the owners not done as much mitigation as they had, that much more would've burned. If you haven't called to get a quote for mitigating your property, don't delay. It's only going to get warmer and drier as the summer goes on, and there are slash collection days coming up!

We are reasonably-priced, and care about our community. Please give us a call today so we can help!

What precisely caused the tree to "fall" ...Our Conifers have deep roots and rarely fall by themselves.

Given the fire fighters in most instances cannot put out a forest fire - as in the Evergreen fire, but contain and let it burn, mitigation of personal property is vital. We were lucky to get this contained quickly probably because of the wet April noy because the firefighters were especially "magical".........come August this would have been huge IMHO......and best to be done would let take the area----steep and inaccessable.

Did you know it's Lightning Awareness Week (we've certainly had enough of it ourselves). Stay safe!

Quote:
During Lightning Safety Week, June 23 through the 29, the American Red Cross wants to help educate people about the dangers associated with lightning, and what you should do to stay safe.

With dry conditions and red flag warnings in western parts of the country, lightning strikes pose an additional threat with the potential to ignite wildfires. In Colorado, which is currently facing devastating wildfires, lightning starts around half of the wildfires where gusty winds fan the flames, spreading the wildfire.

LIGHTNING SAFETY TIPS At any given time, nearly 1,800 thunderstorms are occurring somewhere on earth. The Red Cross has important steps you and your loved ones can follow to stay safe during a thunderstorm:
