I went to Megan's today to put up paneling in her bedroom that was missing, and I took some pictures of the kitchen, I am absolutely not a photographer at all, the pictures are lousy, but thanks to Carpet Direct for donating and installing the beautiful laminate flooring, it looks great, unlike my pictures.

Dang it - you were supposed to let me know when you were going back up to finish so I could help you! :sunshine: Thank you for all your help bootlegger, and everyone else who volunteered, our anonymous financial support, and Becky for providing flooring - what an awesome project to do for someone in need!

Looking forward to the next time!

SC, I heard you finally had a day that you did not need to be anywhere and could just sit back and watch the games.....I couldn't spoil you having a day off. :sunshine:

Thank you - you are too sweet! It was lovely to watch the Bengals pull off a last minute win and look like a professional team for a change (even if it was against the Bills - they may be 0-4, but victories against them are as sweet as ones against the Steelers, all for Marv Levy's interference screwing up what should have been a win in our last Superbowl appearance!) :woo hoo:

The Bills were 3-0 going into that game, I didn't think Cinci would have a chance since the Bills had beaten the Patriots the week before. I was two and two today....Atlanta and New Orleans won, my Bills and Broncos lost. Not a horrible day, but could have been better.

oops....forgot to add this, which is why I was on this thread in the first place, it looks like everyone did an amazing job on this home. I saw some of the early pictures, seeing the after pics is great. Congrats to everyone who participated. Maybe next year we can help with subsequent projects....I sure hope so.

I hope that subsequent projects are not as extensive as this one and to recognize Steve. If it had not been for him I do not think this project would have happened. It was his dogged determination and skill that was the driving force.

I would have run like a scared rabbit.
