The director of the Intermountain Humane Society has left that job, but she’s taking her commitment to animals with her in a position at the Park County Sheriff’s Office.

Earlier this week, Lori Lombardi, former director at IMHS, was sworn in as Park County’s newest deputy in the animal control department. The Platte Canyon High School graduate said the new position was an opportunity she couldn’t pass up.
