I am always amazed at the number of people who go on diets and wonder why they always gain the weight back and more. Diet is a four letter word for failure. If it is not sustainable, it will fail-guaranteed. The human body was programmed a long time ago to store fat during the lean times. By limiting the number of calories to fuel your body, it goes into starvation mode. The solution is really quite simple..feed the body smaller amounts multiple times a day. There is one "diet" that I heard of that limits the calories in a day to around 500. Absolutely crazy. The participants aren't allowed to exercise for the first 30 days or so. Guess what happens when they start to eat again??? What one eats is about 80% of the game. Incorporate healthy foods and exercise. Break a sweat every day. It really isn't rocket science.
